Smoking Policy

TALIZI Hair Transplantation Clinic is non-smoking. None of our therapists or staff smoke in our workplace.

We therefore hope that our patients and especially their relatives will support our smoking policy, and if the urge to smoke becomes too strong for some of our patients, we must ask them to smoke outside. In that case, patients can be given an ashtray for the purpose. Relatives are asked to respect that there is no smoking at Talizi Hair Transplantation Clinic, not even outdoors.

Smoking in connection with surgical procedures
If you are a smoker and have to have surgery with us, we recommend that you stop smoking at least four weeks before your surgery and that you continue your smoking cessation for four to eight weeks after you have had surgery. Quitting smoking can help to strengthen your immune system and thus reduce the risk of complications in connection with the operation. In addition, the oxygen uptake in your tissue increases, which promotes the healing process.

Here you can download the National Board of Health’s brochure Smoking and operations, where you can read more about the subject.

If you have any questions regarding smoking in connection with your surgery, you are welcome to contact us by phone: +995505050099  or email: info@talizi.ge
